Direct Connect

Carriers & Shippers.Direct. No Brokers.

A private, verified network where shippers meet owner-operators face to face — contact info stays locked until both sides accept an introduction, and every load can be locked with a binding rate contract.

FMCSA-verified carriers · two-way ratings · binding rate contracts · private contact info

Built for trust, not transactions

Six safeguards that make direct deals safer than working through a middleman.

Contact info stays private

No phone numbers, no emails, no directory spam. Contact details are exchanged only after both sides accept a formal in-app introduction.

FMCSA-verified carriers

Every carrier profile runs through FMCSA authority verification — legal name, safety rating, and active authority on file before shippers ever see them.

Two-way ratings

After a completed deal, both sides rate each other. Good carriers and good shippers build reputations; bad actors get filtered out.

Binding rate contracts

Lock in the load with a per-load rate contract both parties sign in-app — rate, terms, truck and trailer numbers, and payment terms on one document.

Fair-use contract

Shippers sign a fair-use agreement not to undercut agreed rates — the network is built for long-term direct relationships, not rate shopping.

Lane alerts

Carriers post the lanes they run; shippers post the freight they move. Matching lanes surface to the other side without a broker in the middle.

How it works

From profile to signed contract, entirely in one place.

1. Build your verified profile

Carriers verify FMCSA authority, insurance, and equipment. Shippers post lanes, volumes, and payment track record.

2. Request an introduction

Found a match? Send an introduction request with a short message. Nothing personal is revealed until they accept.

3. Connect and contract

Once accepted, you're connected directly — agree on the load, sign a per-load rate contract in-app, and haul.

Fraud safeguards built in

The safeguards brokers sell you — verification, insurance checks, accountability — live right in the network.

Anti double-brokering attestation

Carriers attest they are the actual carrier of record for their MC number — no re-brokering your freight.

Insurance on file

Certificates of insurance with auto liability and cargo limits are stored privately and viewable via short-lived secure links.

Report and review

Anyone can report fraud, double brokering, or abuse. Reports go to a moderated queue for review — the network polices itself.

One flat introduction fee — not a cut of your rate

Pay a one-time $2,000 introduction fee split $1,000 between shipper and carrier, or run a monthly plan with per-load tier pricing billed on the loads you log in Load IQ. Either way, brokers take nothing off the top of your lane.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a load board or a broker?

Neither. Direct Connect is a private introduction network: shippers and carriers find each other, connect directly, and contract with each other. Load IQ never touches the freight or the rate.

Who can join as a carrier?

Carriers must pass FMCSA authority verification and attest they are the carrier of record, carry proper insurance, and have no SAP or double-brokering history. Shippers see the verification results before connecting.

How do you keep contact info private?

No contact details are shown anywhere in the network. They are exchanged only after a formal in-app introduction is accepted by both parties — so the directory stays clean and outreach stays intentional.

What does it cost?

A one-time $2,000 introduction fee, split $1,000 to each side — or a monthly plan with per-load tier pricing based on the loads you log in Load IQ. No per-load percentage taken off your rate by a middleman.

Can we formalize the rate?

Yes. Every load can carry a per-load rate contract signed by both the shipper and the carrier in the app — rate, payment terms, equipment numbers, and receiver instructions on one legally binding document.
